Position: Office Cleaning Coordinator
Term of Employment: Full Time, Permanent
Reporting To: Customer Care Manager
Location: Wallenstein
Position Summary:
To provide oversight of the office cleaning program at the Wallenstein location.
To ensure the housekeeping and hygiene services at WFS are executed with diligence and care to ensure a healthy and safe office working environment and to contribute to the overall mandate of WFS.
Key Areas of Responsibility – Coordinator:
- Provide oversight to all personnel involved in housekeeping and hygiene services at the Wallenstein location.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed thoroughly and on time according to the schedule provided.
- Maintain inventory records of all cleaning supplies and order new supplies as needed.
- Schedule third party cleaning services as required and ensure the work is completed properly and on time.
- Meet regularly with the Customer Care Manager to discuss the cleaning program, areas for improvement and long term team goals/vision.
- Encourage a positive team atmosphere.
- Work in coordination with various Department Managers to address any concerns or questions.
Key Areas of Responsibility – Housekeeping:
- Clean offices as specified (dust, vacuum, sanitize).
- Clean washrooms.
- Ensure meeting rooms are kept clean and in good order.
- Ensure kitchen facilities are kept clean and in good order.
- Maintain the cleaning schedule in Scalehouse area.
- Restock supplies as required in all washrooms and kitchens.
- Organize tasks to not disrupt work of other employees.
- Report any concerns to the Boiler Engineer or Maintenance Manager as required.
- Provide coverage as needed when co-workers are on vacation.
- Other duties as assigned.
WFS Organizational Responsibilities:
- Meet regularly with direct supervisor.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive organizational, staff and customer issues.
- Be familiar with and adhere to the policies, procedures and processes of WFS.
- Positively represent WFS to our customers and the community.
- Work in a safe manner at all times.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated and positive attitude
- Minimum 2 years experience in the hygiene and sanitation field with leadership responsibilities preferred
Position Details:
- Hours are primarily Monday to Friday 3:00pm – 11:00pm
- This position may require additional hours on Saturdays or Sundays depending on the specific project needing completion.
