Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. As a Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for cutting, edge banding, setting out and cabinet assembly. This is a hands-on role that requires experience with power tools, hand tools, and various woodworking techniques. We are located on the South side of Edmonton. Must have a valid drivers license, must have a tool kit with the essential cabinet making hand tools.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Cut, shape, and assemble wood pieces to build cabinets and furniture
- Install hardware such as hinges, handles drawer slides and functional hardware
-Operate CNC machinery
-Safe operation of a forklift to move material around shop
-Operate Edgebander
- Repair or replace damaged cabinets or furniture as needed
- Collaborate with designers and clients to ensure the final product meets their expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role, looking for 3-5 years experience.
- Proficient in using power tools such as smaller hand tools and larger production style machinery
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
