Title and Authority
: Warehouse Labourer
: This role reports to the Branch Manager. This role has no managerial authority and no direct reports.
General Description of the Role
The Warehouse Labourer will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, managing, organizing, and retrieving stock. A warehouse labourer sees to it that accurate records are kept of all products packaged. Additionally, they commonly assist with updating and providing accurate records of inventory.
Role Accountabilities
· Manage and retrieve stock.
· Maintain organization in the warehouse.
· Actively monitor inventory.
· Maintain high standards of company etiquette and codes of conduct.
· Assist in other tasks as needed.
Specific Tasks
· Receive and track shipments.
· Embark merchandise in delivery trucks using appropriate tools.
· Accommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandise.
· Track and document exact shipment arrival and departure times.
· Tag and label merchandise.
· Label and stockpile merchandise according to size, shape, and type.
· Box, wrap and pack the merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards.
· Prepare all orders for shipment.
· Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items.
· Operate adequate merchandise management tools (for example, forklift).
· Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs.
· Perform other job duties as required such as helping the order desk, return stock on the production floor, truck driver.

· Motivated and hardworking.
· A high school diploma or GED certificate
· 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
· Forklift Operation Certification will be considered an advantage.
· Previous working experience as a Warehouse Labourer.
· Hands on experience with inventory and logistics software programs.

· This position is required 100% on site.
