Medical Office Assistant

Westgrove Clinic is a fast-paced medical clinic with several physicians and our allied team members that make up our Patients Medical Home, is looking for an experienced Clinical Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to work full time, to cover a one year maternity leave, in a patient centered, team environment.

THE ROLE would consist of but not be limited to:

· Obtain patient’s vital signs

· Managing 18 exam rooms and escorting patients

· Manage and order clinical supplies

· Manage and reconcile lab specimens

· Equipment reprocessing (sterilization) according to CPSA standards

· Update and maintain patient charts through the EMR

EDUCATION:

• A diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution for Medical Office Assistant.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 2 years as an office MOA
• Previous experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system required. (Accuro preferred)
• Understanding and experience with the CPSA Sterilization Policy.
• A true understanding of privacy in healthcare.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
