Labourer (Seasonal)

Westlawn Funeral Home & Cemetery is currently seeking seasonal staff to work on the property doing various types of work. The job would include but not limited to line trimming, mowing, flower and shrub bed maintenance, maintenance of ground conditions, watering of plant material and general cleanup and repairs, building and grounds cleaning. Also may include helping fulltime staff with memorial installations, cremation product installations or other assigned tasks.

Successful applicants require a GDL or class 5 drivers license, ability to lift 50 lbs. Hours of work will be up to 40 hours per-week, training will be provided. Previous experience in cemetery, golf course maintenance, property management or certifications in horticulture would be considered an asset.
