THE OPPORTUNITY:
As a Wild Fork Dark Store Associate you are enthusiastic and passionate about Customers and Wild Fork products. You are a Brand ambassador with an Entrepreneurial spirit. You will be trained to have the highest level of product knowledge to provide customers with recommendations on their favorite dish and protein.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITES:
Pick and pack products to fulfill orders from storage racks and coolers
Carefully and efficiently prepare and pack customer orders for same day delivery
Assists in ensuring all outgoing shipments of products meet company standards and ensure our customers receive the highest quality product, every time
Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
Operate an electric pallet jack to transport product
Visually inspects product, follows proper procedures to reduce or eliminate product damage
Responsible for accurately receiving all perishable products from outside vendors and other storage facilities
Ensures accurate count and product specs and notifies appropriate personnel of unusual situations
Responsible for accurately rotating stock and maintaining the integrity of the product by ensuring it is in the proper temp environment
Helps clean and level pallets for inventory
Foster an environment where teamwork and inclusivity is prioritized
Contribute to a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement
Take direction from Manager and ensure key performance targets are met (especially around fill rate and quality)
Strives to reach the KPIs of the business
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS, EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
High School diploma or equivalent
One year of Warehouse/Manufacturing industry experience preferred
Ability to multi-task while being attentive to customers’ orders and remaining flexible to the needs of the business
Well-developed attention to detail skills
Ability to take direction/ coaching and put into action
Strong work ethic and professional attitude
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Strong cognitive skills, including problem analyzing
The ability to regularly lift up to 35-40 pounds
Experience in and preference for working in a fast-paced environment
Be determined and deliver superior results with a sense of urgency, time management, and prioritization
Treat it like you own it – Take ownership and responsibility to be successful
Acts with respect and values other opinions
Ability to meet seasonal peaks, workloads, and deadlines
The ability to work a flex schedule, working various of hours and shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends/holidays
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Lift and move items up to 35-40 pounds
Stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours
Regularly bend, lift, stretch and reach both below the waist and above the head
Have the personal strength and stamina to walk briskly for most of the day throughout the facility
Work in a cold environment with temperatures ranging from -20 degrees Celsius and below for brief period of times during a shift
