Landscape Technician

Responsibilities:

• Interlock Installation: Execute the installation of interlocking pavers, stones, or bricks according to design plans and specifications. This includes laying the materials in various patterns, cutting them to fit specific areas, and ensuring proper alignment and spacing.
• Site Preparation: Assist in preparing the work area by excavating the site, grading the surface, and creating a stable base for the interlock materials. This may involve using hand tools, power equipment, and compactors to achieve the desired levelness and compaction.
• Material Handling: Transport interlock materials to the work site and assist in unloading, sorting, and organizing them for installation. Lift and carry heavy pavers, stones, or bricks as needed, following proper safety protocols to prevent injury.
• Equipment Operation: Operate hand tools and power equipment, such as saws, compactors, and trowels, to cut, shape, and finish interlock materials. Ensure that all equipment is used safely and maintained in good working condition.
• Quality Control: Maintain a high standard of quality and craftsmanship in all aspects of interlock installation. Inspect completed work to ensure proper alignment, levelness, and adherence to design specifications. Make adjustments as necessary to achieve the desired outcome.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members, including project managers, foremen, and fellow installers, to coordinate tasks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure efficient project execution. Communicate effectively and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries on the job site. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe work practices at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.61-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
