Day Camp Coordinators provide direct leadership and support to an assigned number of camp locations within a region. They are responsible for ensuring that on-site Camp Directors are set up for success and are well prepared, so they are able to operate safe and high-quality Day Camp experience for campers. Camp Coordinators will assist Camp Directors hire their teams and with staff coaching and mentoring throughout the summer. They will have an integral role in program organization, training facilitation and program quality assurance. In addition, Camp Coordinators will play a vital role in the planning and delivery of the Accessibility and Inclusion program. This role is also responsible for communicating with the Y contact centre, Y childcares and the parents/guardians of the campers. This position acts as a liaison between Regional Directors and Camp Directors to contribute to ongoing success and growth of Day Camp programs.
