Plan, implement, lead, and evaluate specific expectations of curriculum to ensure YMCA Playing To Learn curriculum is maintained
Support colleagues and connect with families to provide a comprehensive program plan that is developmentally appropriate
Actively participate in programs with children, while being able to coordinate care and meet the dynamic needs of staff, children, and families
Establish and maintain positive daily communication and interaction with families, providing quality customer service and building meaningful relationships
Actively ensure licensing standards and safety standards are maintained for all childcare settings and outings
Execute behaviour care plans, utilizing a child-centered approach by engaging parents and educators and YMCA colleagues
Actively participate and promote philanthropy through YMCA Association initiatives

Only candidates who hold a British Columbia Early Childhood Educator Assistant certificate can be considered for these positions. *
Enthusiasm, energy, interpersonal and organizational skills necessary to support a positive team environment
Valid First Aid Certificate with CPR level B or C
Paid educational opportunities may be available to further ECE education
