We are a Welding and Fabricating company looking to hire a Crane Truck Driver who has an interest in welding/fabricating. This postion may not be driving full time and will require you to help out with general labour and welding/fabricating duties when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid commercial class 3 driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Crane Certification - Folding Boom 22 Tonnes and under
- Proven experience in freight transportation or commercial driving
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts, safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Excellent time management skills
- Knowledge or interest in welding and fabrication
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or other heavy equipment
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the truck to ensure its safe operation
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues that may arise

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
