S&T Product Development Chemist.

El S&T Product Development Chemist, planifica y ejecuta los proyectos técnicos, así como el desarrollo de nuevos productos y mantiene la cartera de productos existente dentro de un segmento tecnológico tanto global como regional, garantizando las especificaciones y requerimientos de la operación, así como las necesidades de los clientes y el cumplimiento de los indicadores de gestión del área.

Responsabilidades clave:

• Desempeñar funciones de manera independiente, planificar y ejecutar el programa de trabajo de laboratorio para sí mismo y para los técnicos (cuando corresponda) que cubra una variedad de proyectos técnicos en total cumplimiento de todos los procesos y procedimientos de seguridad y trabajo.
• Planificar y ejecutar diseño de experimentos que implique el desarrollo de nuevos productos, la mejora de productos existentes, la reducción de costos de fórmulas, la mejora de procesos y procedimientos.
• Interpretar los resultados del trabajo de laboratorio, iniciar trabajo adicional, presentar conclusiones y sugerencias para la implementación que cumplan con los plazos acordados para el proyecto.
• Brindar soporte técnico a otras funciones internas, como comercial, producción y Supply Chain.
• Participar en la generación de la estrategia de la unidad de negocio para generar y seleccionar el pipeline de proyectos a ejecutar.
• Liderar, planear, priorizar y controlar acciones en procesos de auditorías internas y externas (5s, IATF, ISO 9001, ISO 14001), proyectos BPI y análisis y solución de problemas.

Requisitos:

• Educación en Ingeniero Químico, Químico o Químico Industrial
• Indispensable poder contar con al menos 3 años de experiencia laboral en formulaciones para la industria de recubrimientos base solvente. (deseable en automotriz)
• Buen nivel de ingles conversacional, para comunicar con Estados Unidos y Europa.
• Habilidades de mentoría o liderazgo, ya que el rol dirige todo el trabajo de laboratorio.
• Deseable conocimiento de proveedores de materias primas y sus tecnologías, conocimientos básicos en normas ISO 9001, 14001, IATF, gerenciamiento de proyectos.
