Full Stack Developer (Pyhton advanced)

Summary

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team, which is responsible for development of software systems that drive unstructured data operations. In this role, the engineer will play a key role in modernizing and modularizing our code base. They will be expected to independently refactor portions of our monorepo into standalone components, all the while ensuring that builds are performant and that the code has demonstrably high test coverage.

Qualifications

• Intermediate to advanced Python expertise.
• Experience with python dependency management (ideally Poetry).
• Experience with code refactoring and modularization in Python.
• Experience designing code to adhere to object-oriented design best practices.
• Familiarity with GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, AWS (EC2, RDS, IAM).
• Experience with Pandas, Postgres, React and TypeScript.
• Comfortable with test driven development (TDD).
• Comfortable debugging/troubleshooting broken builds.
• Comfortable providing/receiving peer feedback on code reviews.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Great at working collaboratively with other engineers and cross functional stakeholders (e.g. product, support engineers, etc).
