Hours-Monday-Friday 8am-430pm
10 Wilmington Place has a opening for a full-time Housekeeper in our fast paced community.
- Able to pass pre-employment physical and extensive background check.
- Will have assigned shift but must have open availability to cover other shifts as needed
- Have reliable transportation.
- 1 year housekeeping experience required.
- Experience with dementia/memory care required.
- Experience with Seniors a plus.
- This is a full time position working Monday - Friday - Day Shift 8am to 4:30pm
Job includes:
- Cleans and services designated areas within the facility.
- Ensures that resident apartments, bathrooms, meeting rooms, lounges, halls, offices and common areas are maintained in superior condition.
- Cleans, mops, vacuums and polishes floors.
- Dusts furniture, equipment; high and low dusting of walls, etc.
- Cleans windows and sills; empties trash containers; arranges furniture and equipment in an orderly fashion.
- Scours and polishes bathtubs, sinks, mirrors and similar equipment.
- Replenishes and maintains adequate supplies of soap, paper towels and bath tissue in all common area bathrooms.
- Polishes brass; cleans and polishes glass panels in doors and partitions.
Qualifications
- High School graduate or GED. 1 year experience in performing duties of laundry worker/housekeeper.
- Frequently lifts up to 50 lbs.
- Frequently reaching and stretching
- Standing/Walking 90% of the day.
