Job Description Benefits & Wellness Specialist (Benefits Administrator or Benefits Coordinator) AMN Healthcare Coppell, Texas Job Summary The Specialist, Benefits & Wellness will provide benefits support and administrative services following established company procedures in the area of Benefits Administration in accordance with current laws and regulations. Job Responsibilities Serves as a primary point of contact for benefits administration, training and presentations, and software guidance. Responds to employee questions and concerns regarding the benefit plans, enrollments/changes, deductions, eligibility, reporting and processes - using professional and timely customer service skills. Maintains internal benefits database with accuracy between external administrative systems to insure data integrity and accuracy. Validates data coming into the system as identifies data inconsistencies and takes appropriate steps to communicate and resolve the issues. Works with outside carriers and third-party administrators to resolve issues or concerns that may arise. Assists with rollout and communication of the annual Benefits Open Enrollments. Maintains benefit documentation, correspondence, reports and forms. Processes funding for 401k and deferred compensation programs Education Bachelor's Degree | Preferred Experience 1-2 years of medium / large company multi-state benefits experience, Working understanding of how benefits affect payroll. Strong EXCEL proficiency, including large data sets, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables Experience in Open Enrollment activities Software experience in Peoplesoft, ADP, and Workday preferred.
