The Position
ADI’s legal and risk organization is growing throughout the globe! ADI is seeking a talented risk analyst to progress the company’s culture of informed risk taking. This analyst will be a key part of the enterprise risk management team’s effort to drive risk identification, quantification, mitigation, and reporting. Additionally, the position will be instrumental in furthering ADI’s second line of defense capabilities including control testing, process improvement, risk analytics, and coordinating efforts with other second and third line teams.
We are looking for someone with sharp communication and analytical skills, who is proactive, collaborative, a practical problem solver, and has demonstrated excellent judgment and strategic thinking. A successful candidate will be able to work well cross-functionally, is passionate about risk analysis, and is a true team player and business advisor. This is a unique opportunity for a risk management professional to gain exposure to a variety of functions while having an integral part in the organization achieving its strategic objectives.
The position will join a dynamic team of five compliance and risk team members (located various locations globally) and will report to the ERM Program Manager. This position will be based in Wilmington, Massachusetts and will be part of an expanding team that will support every business unit and function to deliver efficient and prudent risk management practices.
Job Requirements
- Risk Profile Management: Monitor and manage risk profiles across various business units, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation plans.
- Advisory and Process Improvement: Advise business leaders on risk-related issues and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and risk management.
- Control Testing: Conduct regular control tests to evaluate the effectiveness of existing risk controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks, working closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and effective risk reduction.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on risk assessments, control test results, and mitigation efforts, presenting findings to senior management and stakeholders.
- Compliance: Ensure all risk management activities comply with industry regulations and internal policies.
- Three Lines of Defense Coordination: Drive aligned efforts with tech and financial risk second line of defense efforts
- Other tasks as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, risk management, economics, and other related fields.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in enterprise risk management, internal audit, assurance, and/or management consulting.
- Exceptional project management skills, attention to detail, and a proven ability to simplify complex topics for stakeholders.
- Ability to establish and develop relationships of trust and confidence; strong influencing and collaborating skills.
- High performance standards, impeccable integrity, excellent judgement, and well-honed analytical skills.
- Prior experience working on a risk management team for a multi-national technology company.
- Outstanding presentation skills with a keen ability to communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of risk management software solutions (preferably Risk Oversight).
- Highly proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Able to travel, as needed up to 10%.
