1033 Omakase & Sake Bar is looking for an experienced Bartender with sake knowledge to join our team. As a key part of the guest experience, you will craft exceptional sake cocktails, educate customers on sake varieties, and contribute to a warm, inviting atmosphere by acting as both a bartender and a welcoming host. Our ideal candidate is passionate about sake, craft cocktails, and delivering outstanding hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Sake & Beverage Expertise: Prepare and serve high-quality sake, sake-based cocktails, Japanese whiskey, and other beverages while providing guests with detailed information on sake styles, tasting notes, and pairings.
- Guest Interaction & Service: Greet guests warmly, guide them through our sake menu, and assist in serving drinks and engaging with customers throughout their omakase experience.
- Bar Operations: Maintain a well-stocked, clean, and organized bar while ensuring compliance with all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with chefs, servers, and front-of-house staff to create a seamless dining experience.
- Sales & Education: Encourage sake sales by offering recommendations and educating guests on premium selections.
Qualifications**
- Prior bartending experience required, preferably in a high-end, craft cocktail, or Japanese-inspired setting.
- Knowledge of sake (certification is a plus)
- Experience with Japanese whiskey and classic cocktail techniques preferred.
- Outgoing, engaging personality with a focus on hospitality and guest experience.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, intimate dining environment.
- Must be 21 and have or be willing to obtain necessary alcohol service certifications.
