Job Title: Pharmacy Tech

Job Type: Contract

Job Duties:

• Accepting written prescriptions or refill requests from patients and evaluating information for completeness and accuracy.
• Recording medical histories while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Delivering quality customer service to patients, responding to inquiries, questions, or requests, and referring them to the pharmacist for medical information.
• Verifying the accuracy of patient information.
• Counting prescription medication, filling prescriptions, and typing and attaching medication labels.
• Performing inventory audits and purchasing supplies and medication.
• Process patient insurance

Job Requirements:

• At least one year of IV admixture experience.
• Experience in mixing chemotherapy, IVs, and Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPNs).
• Home IV and Oncology.
• Proficiency in handling closed systems for chemotherapy preparation.
• Familiarity with repeater pumps and TPN compounders.
• Capability to operate equipment necessary for IV admixture processes.
• Pharmacy Tech License (Colorado or PTCB)
• BLS
• Epic
• Travel will be required to 100% of the four infusion sites, as needed.

Schedule:

• Day Shift
• 5*8
• 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM
• 40 hours per week
