Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Public Affairs Officer to join our team. The Public Affairs Officer will play a crucial role in managing our public image, enhancing our communications, and promoting the mission and activities of the 119th ANG Cadet Squadron. This is a volunteer position ideal for individuals passionate about public relations, communications, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement public relations strategies to enhance the visibility of the squadron.
- Manage media relations, including drafting press releases, handling media inquiries, and organizing press conferences.
- Create engaging content for social media, newsletters, and the squadron's website.
- Coordinate and promote events, activities, and community outreach programs.
- Collaborate with squadron members to gather and disseminate news and stories.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and public perception.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all public affairs-related matters.
