We have three branches located in Sparta, West Salem, and Tomah, WI.
1st Community Credit Union is currently seeking to fill a Loan Officer I position. We're seeking a motivated individual with mortgage experience to join our team. The position's home base will be in our West Salem Branch, but will travel to all Branches servicing our members with mortgage loans. In this role, you will assist new and existing members in navigating the mortgage process, from application to closing, ensuring each transaction is processed timely and accurately. This position provides information on credit union products and services according to all credit union policies and procedures. In addition, the selected candidate will be responsible for developing mortgage business through referrals, realtors, contractors, and other business contacts. If you're driven to provide excellent service and help individuals through the home buying process, we encourage you to apply. An Associate's degree in Finance and / or three years of real estate lending experience in a financial environment preferred. Secondary market experience preferred. Knowledge of sales and marketing a plus. Excellent interpersonal relations and oral written communication skills required. Knowledge of computer and Microsoft Office along with various office machines / equipment required. Proven ability to analyze complicated factual and mathematical situation, apply functional principles, and develop solutions. Valid WI driver's licenses required. The majority of your work will be performed in a normal office environment, standing, climbing and lifting various object is also required on an occasional basis. As a full-time Loan Officer I you're eligible for Heath, Dental, Vision, Long-Term Disability, Life, and 401K plan in which 1st Community Credit Union sets aside 3% of your gross wage regardless of your contribution (eligibility does apply).
Salary : $22 - $31
