ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Responsibilities for Loan Operations Department may include:
• Working all aspects of the Escrow Function
• Loan Systems Reconcilements
• Processing Loan Payments/reversals
• Consumer Loan File Review
• Input / maintenance or Verification of loan input
• Verification of AFT, ACH, HOLD Forms
• Verification of loan maintenance/escrow maintenance
• Collateral Tracking
• Scanning / review of scanned documents
• Processing and quoting payoffs
• PMI, Life and Disability function needs
• Credit card function needs
• Provides customers and Branch professionals with timely information directly or by phone
• Assists in compiling data for various reports as directed by Loan Operations Manager with complete accuracy and in the specified time frames.
• Participates in Loan Operation Department’s long and short-term goals and objectives:
• Attends monthly staff meetings to discuss and evaluate progress on meeting goals and objectives.

• Performs other duties as assigned or directed.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLITY:

This position does not supervise employees.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• High School or GED equivalent required.

• Associate’s degree in business or computer related field, or commensurate work experience preferred.

• Minimum of 1 year banking, accounting, escrow or loan operations experience required
• Working knowledge of loan documents preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to concentrate and perform responsibilities by maintaining a constant state of focus and mental alertness.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds (i.e., files).
• Ability to communicate in person, through email or via telephone with customers and staff members.
• Ability to sit or stand for an extended period.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job may include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
