What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Coordinator position at 300 Clayton Properties Group Inc.?
What will you do in this role?
You provide analytical and operational support within the purchasing department, while working closely with the construction, accounting, and sales departments.
Interact with trade partners by helping Purchasing Agent conduct buyouts for specific categories and communities
Analyze purchase orders for direct construction and option costs
Prepare and analyze pre-sale and pre-construction profit margins (tie-outs) by reviewing sales & options contracts
Identify areas for profit margin improvement & communicate findings to stakeholders
Review purchasing contracts/change orders
Managing special projects as assigned
Develop and implement efficient procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending process changes
Answer financial questions by researching and interpreting cost/margin data
Other tasks as assigned
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
You Have:
1-2 years’ experience in an office environment
Advance knowledge of Excel
Advanced computer skills
Experience working in a team environment, and you really enjoy it
Good verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate with internal and external customers
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
Ability to hold oneself accountable and possesses a high degree of self-awareness
You Might Also Have:
BA/BS in Accounting/Finance/Business or related degree
Experience in Purchasing
Experience working independently while carrying out assignments based on instructions given
Experience in the home building industry

Compensation
Base Salary: $25.00 to $28.00 Hourly
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Bonus Type: KPI qrtrly potential up to 10%
