SUMMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for oversight of the Clinical Program at 3SGF, including clinical supervision, as well as providing individual and group psychotherapy to survivors of trafficking and at-risk clients in the Survivor Services Programs. Services are primarily performed in the Sacramento region with the possibility of serving some clients from other Northern California regions remotely. This manager audits departmental procedures and documentation to ensure compliance with program standards, confidentiality, risk assessment, crisis intervention, and forecasted program outcomes.
COMPANY OVERVIEW:
The mission of 3Strands Global Foundation (3SGF), a California-based non-profit, is to mobilize communities to combat human trafficking through prevention education and reintegration programs. The vision is to create a world free from human trafficking. 3Strands Global Foundation provides five prevention education programs: For schools to help educators and students identify and prevent instances of human trafficking, for victim services agencies to prepare them to work with vulnerable populations, for juvenile justice staff to empower them to be positive change managers in the lives of children, for corporations to educate them on the importance of being trauma-informed with all staff, and for telecommunications professionals to recognize and notify the appropriate people if they suspect human trafficking. 3SGF also manages a direct services program providing case management and employment/education support to foster economic stability for survivors of human trafficking and those at-risk of exploitation. 3Strands Global Foundation engages communities to combat human trafficking through awareness events and works with state and federal legislators on prevention policy.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing supervision to the clinical team, assigning client placement, and supporting supervisees as needed.
- Providing individual and group psychotherapy to survivors of human trafficking and at-risk populations
- Offering evidence-based interventions to treat a variety of mental health issues such as PTSD, anxiety, and depression.
- Working with individuals to create and implement individualized treatment plans based on current needs.
- Completing pre- and post-assessments with each client.
- Regularly monitoring and tracking client progress on a variety of symptoms.
- Collaborate with internal and external care teams regularly to ensure wrap-around support.
- Responsible for continuously assessing risk and providing crisis intervention as needed.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation for interventions, assessments, and progress notes.
- Ensuring program standards align with research-informed practice and all current HIPAA, California, and BBS regulations.
- Maintain necessary continuing education and licensing requirements
- Consistently monitor program outcomes and modify as needed
- Maintain personal professional liability insurance
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in behavioral health field such as social work, clinical counseling, marriage and family counseling, or comparable field.
- Current active license in good standing through the Board of Behavioral Sciences (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, etc.).
- Three or more years experience serving at risk populations with a heavy trauma focus.
- Certification to perform clinical supervision
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Knowledge and practice using evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
- Experience serving underserved individuals such as transitional-aged foster youth, individuals with complex trauma, unhoused individuals, and those who have a diagnosed disability.
- Enthusiasm for organization values and working in alignment with the 3Strands mission.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of confidentiality laws and regulations

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Full time in-office or visiting clients in the field.
- Travel in and around the service delivery to deliver and coordinate services for clients, accompanying clients to meetings and appointments.
- Requires occasional weekend and/or evening work for 3Strands Global Foundation events.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $89,000.00 per year
