What are the responsibilities and job description for the Foster & Adoptive Family Liaison position at 4C for Children?

As a Foster and Adoptive Family Liaison, you will have the opportunity to partner with public and private children services agencies (PCSA) throughout the Greater Cincinnati area to support prospective foster parents to become licensed. You will also support PCSA with their recruitment and retention efforts of new and current foster families. You will directly impact children’s lives by helping increase the number of quality foster homes in the state of Ohio.
We are looking for talented people with:
- An Associate's degree in social work or related field; OR 3-5 years of experience with social work, kinship/adoptive care (lived or worked), customer service or related field
- Ability to work up to 5 evenings and 2 weekends per month
- Experience working with diverse populations of families
- Ability to effectively communicate in group settings, facilitate support groups and conduct presentations
- A passion for helping improve the lives of children in need
- This role will require a current driver’s license, automobile insurance, access to a reliable automobile, and the ability to safely lift and/or transport up to 25 pounds
