Job Description:
A senior-level finance professional responsible for overseeing an organization’s financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, and managing the financial health of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the General Ledger, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Manage all the credit cards in the organization and ensure accuracy within our policy limitations and proof of purchases.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Cash flow management.
- Dealing with internal/external audits.
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Support any M&S, divestment, creation of new entity activities.
- Additionally, other controller duties as necessary.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in a controller or related role and/or 5 years of experience in a senior-level accounting role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field is required.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field is preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Good communication and management skills.
Compensation and Job Details:
- $139,600 to $170,600 annually; commensurate with experience and qualifications.
- Full Time, Monday to Friday
- On-site, in Pleasanton, CA
