Job Title: CNC Tool Crib Attendant
Location: Fort Collins, CO
Shift : 2nd shift ( Monday- Thursday) 5:00pm-3:30am
Pay : $20.00-$24.00
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized CNC Tool Crib Attendant. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and inventory management of tooling for CNC machining centers. This includes measuring, tracking, and ensuring the accuracy of tooling, as well as maintaining a clean and organized tooling crib. The ideal candidate will have CNC machining experience, a solid understanding of tooling and equipment, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up CNC machine tooling according to set-up booklets without supervision.
- Change cutting tools and/or holders efficiently and correctly.
- Measure tools for proper radius, diameter, flute count, flute lengths, gauge length, relief length, and clearance length, ensuring accuracy and documentation.
- Ensure tools are checked out of inventory correctly via the Supply Pro inventory system.
- Place tools in the appropriate CNC machine, ensuring the correct tool magazine pot and proper rotation.
- Remove the correct tools from machine magazine pots when replacing tooling.
- Maintain cleanliness and good condition of tooling holders and all equipment within the tooling crib.
- Organize and maintain the tooling inventory for CNC machining centers, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Utilize and learn the management information system (JobBOSS Job Control/ERP Software) and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
- Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in promoting the company’s core values, fostering a positive and proactive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, providing a safe workplace for all employees.
- Maintain confidentiality of all corporate and classified information.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- At least 1 year of CNC machining or manufacturing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with manufacturing-based technology, processes, and principles.
- 3 years of CNC machining and tool buildup experience.
- Knowledge of pre-setter and heat shrink equipment.
- Extensive knowledge of tool holders and tooling required for CNC equipment.
- Skilled Trade certification from an accredited college, community college, or vocational school is preferred.
