SHIPPING ASSOCIATE/WAREHOUSE

5B’s is seeking a reliable employee for a full-time, dayshift Shipping opportunity!
Our Shipping Team works 8am-5pm M-F with occasional overtime.
Starting pay ranges from $15-$17 per hour depending on experience.

The Shipping team is responsible for making sure outgoing orders are shipped in a timely manner, ensuring weights and shipping labels are correct. Responsibilities also include determining methods of shipment, utilizing shipping schedules, procedures, and routes. Other duties include tracking packages, data entry, and meeting deadlines.

Requirements

· Must have computer knowledge and typing skills

· Lifting of 45-50 pounds, sometimes repetitively

· Experience printing shipping labels

· Ability to Follow sales order schedules to ensure on-time customer deliveries

· Coordinate and communicate with other production departments, sales and customer service to deter and resolve any shipping related issues.

· Ability to read and comprehend written, typed and verbal instruction.

· Excellent organization and time management skills

· Take exemplary care when handling packages

· Continuous standing, reaching, and bending and walking for duration of shift

This is not an office position, you will be standing, lifting boxes and using a pallet jack throughout the work day.
