6 Degrees Group is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for our client in the Atlanta market. This person will partner with their IT organization. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of income statements, GAAP, Cloud-Computing Arrangement, and software capitalization, along with excellent communication skills for working with IT management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage budgeting, allocations, and monthly variance reporting.
- Lead month-end close, including accruals and reclass entries for Opex and Capex.
- Analyze actuals vs. forecast, budget, and prior year; research variance drivers.
- Ensure GAAP compliance for Cloud-Computing Arrangement projects.
- Support annual budget, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Assist with IT spending analysis, business cases, and reporting.
- Provide ad-hoc reports for data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 7 years of corporate finance or FP&A experience.
- 3-5 years of experience with IT functions preferred.
- Strong Excel and financial software skills (Peoplesoft, TM1, Oracle BI).
- Preferred: MBA or relevant graduate degree.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
