Job Description
This internship is designed for students who are or were part of an undergraduate or post-graduate degree program and who have or will graduate between May 2023 - August 2025. As a FedEx intern, you will be working on projects directly related to your degree providing you valuable, real-world experience.
Minimum qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program
- 3.0 GPA
- Availability to work 40 hours per week between June and August 2024

Preferred qualifications:
- Strong work ethic, initiative, resilience, adaptability, relationship-building skills, reliability, responsiveness, oral/written communication skills, innovation, and problem resolution skills
- Experience in sales and/or sales competitions
- Proven track record of success
- A desire for a career in sales
Key responsibilities:
Under close supervision, the successful candidate will help sell FedEx transportation services to potential and existing business customers. Responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with other Digital Sales and Field Sales Account Executives (AEs) to identify opportunities, help close new business, and assist with any customer facing issues their aligned AEs may have.
- Plan calls with aligned customers and then prospect for new business around those accounts.
- Participate in the entire sales process with your aligned AEs to do pricings, implementation plans, and follow up visits to secure new business.
- Perform joint rides with your Sales Manager and assigned mentor.
The company does not offer immigration sponsorship for the permanent position(s) that will be offered to successful interns who are hired into the Foundations Program or full-time entry level positions.
Relocation and housing assistance will not be available for an internship.
