Title: Automation Assembly and Repair Technician
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Automation Assembly and Repair Technician to join our team.
This position requires extensive domestic travel (home base in Evansville IN), as well as a high level of mechanical aptitude, and experience with electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Responsibilities:
Assemble, install and repair automation equipment at customer sites.
Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with automation systems and equipment.
Work closely with the engineering team to develop and implement solutions to technical issues.
Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to clients.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent, and a technical degree or certification in automation or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in assembly and repair of automation equipment.
Proficient with mechanical systems, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to travel extensively, sometimes on short notice.
