Recreational Use Survey - Coordinator

A.I.S., Inc. (AIS) is a national scientific services firm supporting maritime activities requiring certification of compliance with environmental regulations as well as collecting data for use by Federal, State, Municipal, and other government agencies along the US coastline.

Primary Function:

The project Coordinator will schedule field technicians to meet all site sampling requirements for the project. They will regularly check in with field staff to ensure safety and sampling protocols are being met for the project. The coordinator is responsible for collecting technicians data, QAQC, and shipping the data to the client.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Create staff schedule and verify activity
• Regular check-ins with field staff
• Weekly check-ins with Project Manager
• Deliver and collect forms and supplies for field operations
• QAQC data sheets and mail them
• Troubleshoot issues and report back to the Project Manager
• Ensure safety and sampling protocols are upheld
• Handle situations that may arise with site managers and recreators

Compensation: Candidates will be paid an hourly rate to be negotiated and total compensation will vary depending on candidates' depth of experience. Pay Range: $24-26/hr. This is a full-time position. AIS benefits package includes health and dental insurance, vacation, sick and holiday benefits.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Access to a reliable vehicle
• Familiar with the Seattle metro area
• Bachelors degree
• Willing to work in inclement weather conditions
• Field data collection experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Field Data Collection experience
• 1 year managing field personnel

Travel:

• No Travel outside of Seattle anticipated and compensation for miles accrued on a personal vehicle at the specified Government rate outside of hire location.
