Should have early childhood classroom experience with one to two years in an early learning center. Will inspire learning through play and preparing our students for success as they transition to Kindergarten.
Must comply with Bright from the Start’s program requirements and Quality Rated to meet the child care and early education needs of the students and their families. Maintain current certification in Child/Infant CPR and First Aid Physical
Expectations of the job require that candidates must be able to lift a child weighing up to 50 pounds, sit comfortably on the floor while interacting with children, and change positions frequently during the day.
Assist the Director and Assistant Director with the fire drills which are conducted monthly and tornado and other emergency situation drills will be conducted every six months. Assist with maintaining a clean facility.
Our school is looking for an experienced, passionate educator to fill the role of Lead Teacher Assistant/floater position. You will be collaborating with a team of teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure that our students receive the best education we can provide.
Key responsibilities include designing effective curriculums, assessing lesson plans, implementing innovative teaching methods, and supporting less experienced teachers in their various roles and interactive play with children.
To be successful as a Lead Teacher Assistant/floater, you should be someone with a deep understanding of what it takes to teach students effectively. Top candidates will also be excellent leaders and mentors, able to use their knowledge to raise fellow teachers up, and make lasting improvements to the childcare’s educational process.
Assistant Teacher Responsibilities:
Provide a welcoming, inclusive learning atmosphere for all students
A bilingual assistant teacher/floater delivers content in English and another language, helping students develop and strengthen their skills in both.
Maintain records of students progress and needs
Must be willing to follow the lead of the Director and Assistant Director.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
