What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian/Porter - Part time position at AAMCI – Management, Inc?
AAMCI is looking for a part-time 25 hours per week Custodian/Porter for our 100-unit Elderly/Disabled community in Knoxville, TN.
Monday-Friday 8 am 12 pm, $15.00 per hour
AAMCI provides many training opportunities, and many paid opportunities to obtain higher levels of certificates.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Upkeep of all community grounds
- Clean common areas
- Clean Stairwells
- Vacuum hallways
- Mopping, sweeping
- Clean and sanitize elevator
- Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter daily
- Assist in preparation of make ready units, including remove trash
- Assist maintenance team with snow removal (if applicable)
- Report any maintenance concerns for resolution
Qualifications necessary for success:
- Ability to self-motivate
- Courteous
- Physically able to perform all duties required, including but not limited to standing, walking, lifting, bending, and working outdoors
- Reliable transportation
Uniform shirts are provided for each team member.
