What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Manager position at AAMCI – Management, Inc?
AAMCI is hiring a Maintenance Manager to join our team at a 500-unit Section 8/Tax Credit community in Dayton, OH.
Salary $60,000.00, Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm.
The community is an affordable housing community with Section 8/Tax Credit rent subsidy, providing housing to income-qualified residents. In this position, AAMCI expects strong customer service, safety management, skill set development and time management with the goal to create a home and strong communities for each of our residents to thrive.
AAMCI provides many training opportunities, and many paid opportunities to obtain higher levels of certificates.
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
- Sets overall maintenance department goals, processes, or procedures to accomplish company goals.
- Maintains maintenance staff job results by coaching, counseling, disciplining employees and by planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Management of training and professional development.
- Schedules maintenance staff daily work and clarifies expectations.
- Qualifications necessary for success:
- HVAC Certified
- Ability to adhere to work safety program
- Ability to perform all duties including but not limited to lifting, climbing, standing, bending, loading, unloading, and working outdoors in inclement weather
