Job Description

Abbey Springs has a part-time opening for a patrol officer within our security team.

Abbey Springs is a home owners' association located on Geneva Lake. We are also home to an 18-hole golf course, dining facilities, recreation facilities and a marina.

Duties include:

• Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Answer telephone calls to take complaints, messages, answer questions, and provide information.
• Call/respond with police, fire & EMS departments in cases of emergency.
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of vehicles to maintain security of premises.
• Open/close buildings.
• Patrol the premises, by both foot and vehicle.
• Warn persons of rule infractions or violations.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

Requirements:

• Valid driver license.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and other pertinent software.
• Skilled in oral and written communication.
• Ability to perform physical demands of position, including walking distances and lifting heavy weights in times of emergency.

Schedule:

• 16 hours per week on the 11pm-7am shift.
