Overview
We are seeking reliable, compassionate, and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses to join our healthcare team, full-time. Openings for LPNs are available on our 3-11 shift. We are also looking for a float nurse on 3-11 and 11-7 shift as well.
LPNs play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. This position requires a strong understanding of nursing principles and practices, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care while providing friendly customer service.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
- Perform routine procedures such as wound care and treatments.
- Participate in emergency situations as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Consistent documentation using Point Click Care
Qualifications
- Core skills in basic life support, EMR and EHR systems, patient care, and nursing
- Premium skills in IV insertion
- Active NJ or multi-state LPN certification required
- Experience in medication administration required
- Working knowledge of Point-Click Care preferred
