Position: Senior Assistant Program Manager
Program Assignment: Residential Services
Supervisor: Director of Residential Services
Job Summary: The Senior Assistant Program Manager is a full-time exempt position (40 hours per week) responsible for overseeing program operations and ensuring quality services for residents. The schedule is developed in conjunction with the Residential Director and includes administrative hours to manage program operations, supervise staff, attend meetings, and coordinate services for residents. Flexibility is required to adapt to program needs and provide support during emergencies or special events.
Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned programs, ensuring residents’ needs are met.

Develop and implement program policies, procedures, and goals.

Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to provide person-centered services.

Recruit, train, and supervise program staff, fostering a culture of professionalism and collaboration.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and support.

Schedule staff coverage to ensure adequate support for residents.

Monitor residents’ progress and ensure individualized plans are implemented effectively.

Promote active treatment and community integration opportunities for residents.

Address and resolve any concerns raised by residents or their families.

Ensure programs meet or exceed regulatory standards and organizational expectations.

Conduct regular audits and prepare reports as required.

Implement corrective actions and quality improvement initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- A relevant BA/BS Degree from an accredited college or university or four years of work experience in the field of developmental disabilities may be substituted for each year of required education beyond high school.
- Two years of full-time employment in a residential program or related field, with demonstrated supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in residential services.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing program needs.
Salary : $47,000 - $50,000
