Job Description:
- Perform monthly and quarterly financial close tasks.
- Assist in billing of claims
- Prepare and review ledger journal entries.
- Maintain general ledger and other financial data.
- Analyze financial data to assess accuracy and completeness.
- Generate and interpret financial reports for management.
- Prepare account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
- Work with cross-functional organizations to accomplish tasks.
- Backup other department personnel as needed, in particular during planned and unplanned absences.
- Fill in for billing and claims specialist and/or payroll as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Business with major in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years’ experience in accounting
- High attention to detail, strong organization, communication, and writing skills.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and Quick Books.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven commitment to collaboration and partnerships
- Ability to network and collaborate cross-functionally on a team.
- Highly proficient personal computer skills and technology driven
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
