Glass Technician
A Glass Technician’s primary responsibility is to perform glass replacement and repair on vehicles with World Class Customer Services standards.
Essential Job Duties
- Replacement of automotive glass by following quality standards
- Repair damaged glass
- Complete documentation of repair orders on mobile devices
- Perform all pre/post scanning requirements per OEM standards
- Ability to remove and re-install trim panels & interior parts without damaging
- Effectively prioritize and manage time to complete assigned daily tasks.
Qualifications
Skills/Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Nice to have, but not required: Previous collision experience
- Ability to do consistent physical activity reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
- Be able to understand instructions written and verbal
- Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
The position is based in a normal shop environment. Occasional physical activity such as reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and stooping to inspect repairs, and lifting and carrying objects over 50lbs. Exposure to fumes, chemicals, dust, along with moderate levels of noise. Subject to weather conditions both inside and outside. Required to wear protective equipment when necessary. Occasional sedentary work. Must have visual acuity to determine the accuracy and thoroughness of the work assigned.
Salary : $22 - $26
