Role Description
This position entails supporting the industrial hygiene and indoor air quality teams with testing, data management and report production. Examples of testing include performing surveys to determine the presence of asbestos containing materials; performing air monitoring during demolition and construction activities; testing construction materials for lead-based paint hazards; and obtaining samples to test for mold and volatile organic compounds.
The technician will attend certain trainings and testings to obtain state-required licenses at the company's expense. Technicians also maintain, repair and calibrate testing equipment. Work includes accessing roofs, scaffolds, ladders, swing stages, attics, crawl spaces and other efforts that may include climbing or crawling. This is a salaried position located in Chapin, SC.
Qualifications

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Knowledge of AutoCAD preferred
- Previous environmental work experience with preexisting certifications/licenses preferred
