What you will be doing... Your IMPACT
Essential Duties/Functions:
- Install, assemble, and test new machines and equipment as necessary.
- Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and service for new and existing equipment.
- Complete machine work as indicated on job blueprints and manufacturer specifications manuals.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and sketches.
- Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual and sound inspections.
- Operate conveyor systems, mobile equipment, which includes, backhoes, bulldozers, and rubber-tired bucket loaders to repair to check for proper operation and/or adjustment.
- Climb up & down rail car ladders to lock & unlock intermodal containers through the transfer process.
- Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions.
- Complete written record of work performed.
- Complete welding repairs to ABS standard.
What we are looking for...
You will need to have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2-5 years' experience in a construction, industrial maintenance operations.
- The ability to weld is required.
- Must pass and maintain safety/operation requirements of manlift operation.
- Must be able to climb heights and work in confined spaces.
- Must be able to a rotating shift, including weekends.
