Duties
- Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and business clients.
- Analyze financial documents to determine tax liabilities and deductions.
- Utilize Lacerte tax software to prepare tax returns.
- Utilize QuickBooks accounting software to maintain accurate records.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding their tax situations.
- Stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Assist clients in understanding financial concepts related to their tax returns.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in public accounting or corporate accounting is preferred.
- Proficiency in Lacerte and QuickBooks software programs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Familiarity with current tax laws and regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
