Role: Performance Architect
Location: Boston, MA (Onsite)
Experience: 12 Years
Duration: Long time contract
Role Description:
- Lead Performance Engineer Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required.
- 5 years of IT experience with proven expertise in performance engineering (analysis, testing, and tuning)
- Experience developing simulators in multiple languages, such as Java, PL SQL, Python for simulating performance load.
- Experience with performance diagnostics/monitoring tools such as DynaTrace or AppDynamics
- 3 years' Experience with JMeter, LoadRunner or custom load generation tools
- Strong performance analysis skills, including system metrics and thread/heap dump analysis.
- Broad experience with multiple middleware and data store technologies, such as message queues,
- Relational databases, non-relational databases, caches, stream processing, batch processing
- Extensive knowledge of Linux operating system, especially process/system monitoring and performance measurement
- Experience with AWS cloud services are preferred.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines on Jenkins and source code control/repository is a plus.
- Experience automating performance testing through a CI/CD pipeline is nice to have.
- Experience working with Agile development
