Position Summary: The Software Engineering Manager is responsible for architecting, designing, and developing custom applications, services and automation in our environment. Capable of working as a technical leader, mentor, and project champion for our engineering and development efforts. This role will include shared hands-on responsibility in many areas, including development, system administration, and application administration.
Priorities:
- Hands on service/application development and system/application administration
- Service/application requirements gathering, design, and architecture
- With the assistance of senior management, manage team tasks towards organizational goals
- Documentation and operational support
- Configuration and support of third-party applications and platforms
- Provide day-to-day supervision and mentorship of junior staff members

The pay range is $120,000 - $140,000. Starting pay rate will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable agreement. Dependent on the length of service, hours worked, and applicable agreements, benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and optional disability insurance, sick pay of 2.66 hours for every 80 hours worked, Vacation pay of 3.08 hours for every 80 hours worked, paid holidays (6 days annually), three personal days (prorated based on start date), bereavement pay and retirement benefits.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): The following are required to enable job holders to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5 years solutions architecture experience in projects that span both hardware and software solutions
- 5 years related System and Network administration work experience
Technology Skills:
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript, Node.js, React, MUI and other popular frameworks
- Understanding of API/webhook integrations, single sign-on and token-based authentication (REST, JWT, etc..). Azure B2C experience and/or Google Firebase a plus.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or Postgres and ability to understand SQL and JSON. Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as CosmosDB.
- Experience building and securing APIs and webhooks to integrate with other services
- Experience using cloud-based monitoring and logging services such as Datadog to track application performance and stability
- Experience with one of the three major cloud platforms with Microsoft Azure preferred
- Experience with version control systems like git
- Experience working within an agile framework using scrum
- Experience troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing software
- Familiarity with integrating with HubSpot’s API, Google’s API or Azure AI services
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
