What are the responsibilities and job description for the FOREMAN/SUPERINTENDENT position at Ace Services Inc?

The FOREMAN is responsible for safely and efficiently leading and supervising a crew to complete work on the job site. The FOREMAN is a proficient Equipment Operator and is capable of building and leading a Team of men to be successful at meeting our Customer’s expectations.
What you will do:
- Lead crew in performing tasks associated with installation of underground electrical/telecom utilities
- Assure quality and safety related to installation and repair of underground utilities.
- Read Prints
- Operate diesel powered equipment on the jobsite
- Maintain daily reports of work completed and scheduled and oversee timekeeping for crew.
- Daily safety inspections of jobsite, excavation, equipment, work quality, specifications, etc. of work crews
- Resolve complaints and problems on the ground
- Maintain safe working procedures at ALL times.

- Solutions Oriented Managers: Capable of leading/supervising crew and subs, effective planning & coordination of crew tasks & responsibilities, accurate daily reporting & time keeping, steady communication with PM & General Superintendent on updates/needs, and solving problems before they arise
- Technically Skilled: Comprehend drawings and job scope, ultimate responsibility for crew Safety, working knowledge of grade & calculating volume, proficient with equipment: Excavator / mini-ex / skidsteer, mastery of Electrical Conduit Installation & racking, mastery of excavation/trenching at grade for Plumbing projects
