Service Operations Lead

A leading provider of HVAC and plumbing services is seeking a Service Operations Lead to support the service team, technicians, and customers. This role will ensure the efficient operation of the service department, working closely with management to achieve department goals and deliver high quality service.

Responsibilities :

  • Confirm operations process execution in ERP system.
  • Complete work order validation and service billing / AR tasks.
  • Approve field-generated quotes.
  • Follow and enforce safety protocols.
  • Support management in meeting revenue, profit, and margin goals.
  • Streamline processes to improve invoicing, dispatch, and operations.
  • Train and mentor service team members.
  • Collaborate to improve staff training and customer experience.
  • Implement new technologies to enhance efficiency.
  • Manage invoicing, billing, and expenses.
  • Generate reports on department performance and recommend improvements.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5 years of leadership in customer service or operations (preferably in the service industry).
  • Proficient in MS Office and internal systems.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle complex situations and present to senior management.
  • Must pass background checks and travel as needed.
  • Knowledge of HVAC / plumbing systems is a plus but not required.
