Job Title: Mid-Level Ecologist

Job Description

We are seeking a mid-level Ecologist with 3-5 years of experience to join our Environmental Department in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) as well as other local, state, and federal agencies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits, field surveys, and data analysis for environmental planning projects.
• Understand and implement Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements.
• Prepare reports, permits, and regulatory documentation.
• Develop client relationships and support project proposals.
• Lead safety efforts and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable violation history

Work Environment

This role will help build the Environmental Department and lead the Ecology team in Fort Lauderdale. The position offers the opportunity to work both in the field and in the office. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
