Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing pest issues in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pest control and possess excellent customer service skills. This position requires the ability to work independently, operate various tools and equipment, and provide effective solutions to pest-related problems.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
- Apply pesticides and other treatments safely and effectively while adhering to all safety regulations.
- Utilize farm machinery, power tools, and hand tools as necessary for pest control tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including materials used and customer interactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and educating them on pest prevention techniques.
- Drive company vehicles to various job sites while ensuring safe transportation of equipment.
Experience
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred; training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
- A valid driver's license is required for this position.
- A background in sales or customer service is a plus.
