What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lot Attendant position at active auto recovery?
- Looking for a lot attendant For a Repossession company In Fremont
- HOURS: Monday through Friday 9am - 4pm
- Hourly rate : to be determined after interview and experience assessment.
- Entry level position but experience in an office, tow yard, or both would put you at the top of our list.
- PLEASE be sure to mention and highlight any experience related to towing/ transport/ impound yard experience. Having this experience will make it easy to get started here.
- Though experience is not necessary, it is a bonus. After phone interview is complete, we will have you come into our office for training & trial period where the expectations, skills, and duties will be explained and taught. After that trial period, we will see if it is a good fit for both you and our company. This job requires the ability to multitask, time and task management, focus, patience, eagerness to learn and be a team player. Team effort and helpful mentality is very important at our company as there are hectic days when we all need to help one another out as one point or another. So, the ability to realize that help is needed and to offer without being asked is a great characteristic to have.
- Pay is determined upon experience and knowledge that you already have and how quickly new skills are learned and retained. This can be discussed after the interview and first couple days of trial period. Trainees will need to be receptive and understanding when training and able to receive coaching and constructive critique without being disouraged or take it personally. Effort and initiative to make progress and learn this industry is appreciated.
- Duties include but not limited to: data entry,filing, yard management and assistance, organization, document scanning and uploading, status updates of released vehicles, condition reports of vehicles, photographing condition of vehicles, personal property management , record keeping of updates for vehicles on our lot.
- Though not necessary, it would be helpful if you are somewhat familiar with make and models of cars, know how to jump start a car battery, know where to find the vin number on a vehicle, comfortable driving stick shift or larger vehicles, and able to maneuver cars confidently. If not already skills that have been obtained prior to working here, we will train you in those areas.
