Our client, a quickly growing property and casualty Insurance company is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team sitting in Tampa, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with external auditors and to facilitate audits and ensure timely and accurate completion of audit processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies as well as assist with budgets and forecasts
- Oversee and manage the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 2-7 years of relevant accounting experience (within the insurance industry)
- Experience with ERP systems or accounting general ledger software (QuickBooks, Dynamics GP, or SAP) is a plus
