Summary : Provides general medical care and treatment to patients in physician office under direction of Physician, by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned.
- Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines
- Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient’s clinical problems and health care needs
- Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis based on patient’s condition
- Prepares a comprehensive patient care plan
- Periodically reviews the health care plan and goals of individual patients
- Prescribes or recommends drugs or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy or inhalation therapy
- Refers patients to specialist for treatment
- Complies with ACRMC Code of Conduct
Nurse Practitioner will work at all ACRMC Family Medicine clinics in Adams and Brown counties.
